NOXOL-400 is a metal surface protection chemical which acts by forming a very thin organic layer on cleaned surfaces, thereby significantly delaying subsequent oxidation of the metal substrate.

The mode of action is accomplished due to the polar group of the product having an affinity to the polar group of the metal surface, while an alkyl group protects the surface.
 

The product is used in the Pre - Operational Cleaning process.
